Super Kings make a comeback by thrashing Sunrisers

In a surprising turn of events, Chennai Super Kings beat Sunrisers Hyderabad to bring relief to the team and captain Dhoni as they climb up a spot on the table to settle at 6th place with 6points after struggling to survive in the last 7 matches. Winning by 20run over SRH they announce themselves again to provide hope to its fans and roar ahead of the next challenge. CSK put up a target of 167/6 and later Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja curtailed SRH in 20 overs 20 runs short of the target. Jadeja was unbeaten 25 off 10 on the field and picked up a dangerous looking wicket of Jonny Bairstow as well. Kane Williamson’s 57 did not help SRH in the end. CSK’s bowlers looked deadly during the game with Leg-spinner Karn Sharma (2/37), Sam Curran and Shardul Thakur all bowled exquisitely with no expensive overs.
