Sydney Sixers beat Perth Scorchers and won the Big Bash League

Sydney Sixers beat Perth Scorchers and won the Big Bash League with James Vince scoring 95. James Vince had the last giggle over Andrew Tye as the England batsman's 95 off 60 balls encouraged Sydney Sixers to a subsequent straight Big Bash League title. Vince scored 10 fours and 3 sixes in the 60 ball innings. The match was held at Sydney Cricket Ground.

Ashton Turner, the Perth Scorchers captain insisted the delivery that was not intentional, denied James Vince his chance to complete a century at Big Bash League. The Perth Scorchers did not have Jason Roy because of his ankle injury, but Liam Livingstone gave 45 from 35 deliveries by hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes. But ultimately Sydney Sixers won the Big Bash League Title second time straight.
