The owners of the reigning three-time champions were among the first to renew their current franchise agreement, strictly adhering to the market valuation established comprehensively by Ernst & Young, a globally respected audit firm. This extension underscores significant stakeholder confidence in the HBL PSL, which is set to expand to eight teams starting with the eleventh edition next year.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed immense satisfaction regarding the renewal, praising Atif and Sameen Rana for transforming the franchise into a prestigious global household name and consistently developing national cricket talent. He viewed their commitment as a testament to the league's enduring power.

PSL CEO Salman Naseer additionally lauded the owners’ passion and instrumental role in shaping the league's spirit, voicing excitement about their continued ten-year collaboration. Notably, under the captaincy of Pakistan’s ODI skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi, the Lahore Qalandars have impressively secured three titles within the last four years.
