Today's opening ODI pits Pakistan against New Zealand

The Men's Cricket World Cup Super League includes the series. Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, said that they would aim to win the series against New Zealand, one of the finest teams and having a very excellent combination, in an effort to start the new year in white-ball cricket in a positive manner. The captain responded that he had not yet looked at the surface and will select the best-playing XI when asked whether he had been consulted before Shan Masood was named vice-captain and whether he would play in the opening ODI.

Babar noted that they had a wonderful year with the white ball and that they had triumphed in 90 to 95 percent of their T20 and ODI games. The white-ball version of cricket is really different from previous formats, and we'll attempt to maintain our momentum and perform well, the player said.
