West Indies all set for the two-Test series against South Africa

West Indies will take on South Africa in a two-match test series and have the best chance to beat the unsettled visitors for the first time in 30 years at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in St Lucia. The two test series would kick off on Thursday and West Indies have been unbeaten in their last four test matches and plan to maintain the streak against South Africa. West Indies first took down Bangladesh with a clean sweep of 2-0 and drew against Sri Lanka at home. Proteas on the other hand are coming off after heavy defeats in two Tests in Pakistan.

Even if West Indies would be without their fastest bowler, Shannon Gabriel they are hopeful they can beat South Africa. 19-year-old pacer Jayden Seales has been handed his test debut, the West Indies captain would open with either Kieran Powell or Shai Hope. Whereas South Africa would rely on veterans like Elgar, Aiden Markram, wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock, and Temba Bavuma as well as Kagiso Rabada who would be supported by Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi.
