Esteban Ocon will take on more leadership responsibilities

Celebrity investors like Ryan Reynolds have expressed optimism in Alpine F1 driver Esteban Ocon's ability to turn around the team's problems by becoming more involved in the factory. In spite of a challenging beginning to the 2024 Formula One season, Ocon thinks they have gained valuable knowledge. The squad has performed poorly in the first two races, despite having well-known investors like Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. Ocon finished 17th in Bahrain, while teammate Pierre Gasly placed 18th. Over the following weekend in Saudi Arabia, an issue with the formation lap forced Gasly to withdraw early, while Ocon was able to move up to 13th place.

After placing 13th in the Jeddah Grand Prix, Ocon was disappointed because he thought his vehicle was still not competitive enough to compete with their opponents.
