After the announcement of Las Vegas, Formula 1 has begun focusing on a better television rights deal in the United States of America. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has admitted that the American market is a massive focus for F1. Miami has a 10-year contract signed with Formula 1.
Domenicali has also quoted that Formula 1 simply belongs in the United States. Further, he said that they want to make the American market the most precious one in the sport. Having an American driver is very essential from a commercial viewpoint, agreed Domenicali. Also, getting a TV deal is important.
