Former Formula 1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen announced his retirement eight months ago but is looking for ways to make a comeback and postpone his plans of retirement.
While F1 might have been the first thing that comes to your mind but the Iceman is planning for NASCAR where he competed for long back in 2011. Announcing his comeback, the Finn would be participating with TrackHouse Racing as part of ‘Project91’ this weekend itself. The idea behind the project was ex-NASCAR driver Justin Marks’ and the initiative calls for recruiting drivers from other formulas. The former F1 driver marked 21 wins, 103 podiums, and a world championship in F1. TrackHouse Racing record is good this season, in the hands of its other driver, Ross Chastain, the car has so far recorded three wins and seven podiums, which gives a lot to aspire for Raikkonen and he can be competitive straight away on the track.
