AC Milan are working on the signing of Joshua Zirkzee

Milan is now negotiating a number of Zirkzee-related issues. They have started communication with Bayern Munich and are conversing with the player and his group. According to MilanNews, Milan has "been working for Zirkzee for months" and has done so while being well aware of the terms of the Dutch striker's contract and price. His contract has a €40 million provision that applies to all parties, not only Bayern Munich.

Milan decided on Zirkzee some months ago, and throughout that time they have been working on the agreement; but, they are aware of the fierce competition and that in order to prevail, they will need to present a compelling package. Given that Bologna has the option to purchase Alexis Saelemaekers for €12 million, there is an aim to include him in the transaction as partial economic recompense to reduce the amount of cash needed. Additionally, Lorenzo Colombo will be attempted to be included.
