AC Milan was lucky enough to gain a three-point lead over competitors, Juventus and Roma both lost their respective matches while Milan was able to extend its lead before the international break and maintained its hold on the second place on the table. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Ismael Bennacer all returned to the squad and were heavy on the opposite side as they beat Fiorentine by 3-2.
Ibrahimovic opened the score first after being set up by Simon Kjaer. Pulgar’s free-kick leveled the score and Milan lost the lead when Vlahovic and Ribery worked together to get past Milan’s keeper and they fought their way back to a win with Brahim Diaz scrambling a goal in and Kjaer assisted twice and set up Calhanoglu for the last shot that gave them a win.
