AC Milan claims the Serie A No.1 spot

AC Milan once again challenges Inter Milan in the Scudetto as they take back the throne in the Italian football league. Sandro Tonali’s stoppage-time thriller helped the side claim a 2-1 win over Lazio and Rossoneri who had fallen behind at the start of the match came back at the Stadio Olimpico.

Ciro Immobile gave Lazio an early lead within four minutes which was countered in the second half when Veteran French forward Olivier Giroud pulled the score level and ensured that Milan would at least walk away with a one-point until Tonali’s late adventure stole two more points for the leaders. In another match, Salernitana keep their hopes of returning next season alive with a  2-1 win over Fiorentina, and Napoli was stunned by Empoli who was eventful in the last 10 minutes and drilled three goals past Partenopei at Stadio Carlo Castellani to win by 3-2.
