AC Milan close in on the Serie A title with 3-1 win at Verona

In the thrilling Serie A battle this season, AC Milan’s 3-1 win against Verona puts them closer to the title this season. They need four more points and have just two more matches left in their campaign as they hope to claim their first Scudetto since 2011. Sandro Tonali’s double helped the Rossoneri with the much-needed three points as they enjoy a lead over Inter Milan in the league.

Alessandro Florenzi netted the final goal for the side as the seven-time European champions stays put on their path to the title. Inter would face relegation-threatened Cagliari in Serie A and then take on their final opponents Sampdoria before the Italian Cup final against Juventus which could complicate matters for them in Serie A.
