AC Milan grabbed its first Serie A crown in 11 years

Rossoneri fans were not too pleased that Stefano Pioli was appointed in 2019 because he previously managed rivals Inter but with his tactics, he helped in the two-point success over his former team. The match between AC Milan and Sassuolo was smooth as the winners secured a 3-0 win. It was AC Milan’s Olivier Giroud who scored 2 goals and Franck Kessie’s one shot helped their side with the victory. Napoli was third after a 3-0 win at Spezia while Juventus finished with a disappointing season. 

On the other hand, Inter defeated Sampdoria 3-0 on the final day but Inzaghi’s clan couldn’t deny their city opponents. Veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was part of that last Milan side that won Serie A and at the age of 40, he lifted the trophy with the club for a second time.
