AC Milan have a concrete interest in signing Rocco Vata

In order to secure youthful talent for the future, Milan likes to get in early, as seen by agreements like the ones for Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw, and more recently, Alex Jimenez and Filippo Terracciano. Of course, there's an economic benefit to getting in before a player bursts and their price tag does the same, but part of the reason for it is their extensive scouting network and Geoffrey Moncada's influence. 

Vata has always had a connection to the Scottish team, with whom he signed his first professional deal at the age of 16 in July 2021. Vata is the son of former Celtic defender Rudi Vata. Vata decided to represent Ireland at the young level after enrolling in the academy at the age of seven. After rising through the Celtic academy's ranks, he joined the B-Team.
