AC Milan level on points with Inter by beating Venezia 2-0

Brahim Diaz opened the score for AC Milan late in the second half and France international Hernandez then improved on the lead with a second goal at 82nd minute to put the Rossoneri on winning track and challenge Inter at the top of the table.

Milan is now sporting 13 points just as their city river Inter in Serie A. Diaz first put a shot past the goalkeeper after working on Hernandez's cross in the 67th minute, later Hernandez worked with fellow substitute Alexis Saelemaekers to catch the pass with superb efforts and put in at the back of the net for his first goal of the campaign. Milan remains without a loss this season and enjoys a one-point lead over Napoli. The only unbeaten team in Serie A now has the chance to top the table once more as they would take on Sampdoria next.
