At the end of the week, AC Milan is set to officially confirm the signing of Lille players Sven Botman and Renato Sanches. Rossoneri is involved in the negotiation phase of both the deals but would close the deal on the pair after the huge influx of £1.2bn following their takeover.
Sanches has enjoyed a good season with Lille, scoring two goals and five assists for the team in the 25 odd appearances he made in Ligue 1. Botman would be the bigger signing of the two, the centre-back had refused a move to Newcastle in the winter and still is one of Magpies' top defensive targets this offseason. The Premier League side would have outbid Milan if it hadn't been for the recent takeover that gives Milan a monetary boost to seal his signature.
