Alexander-Arnold has agreed a deal with Real Madrid

Alexander-Arnold, one of the most important players in the Reds' squad, has already taken the definitive step towards a move to Madrid. The information from journalist Sacha Tavolieri in "Sky Sport Switzerland" indicates that the player has reached an agreement with Los Merengues to join the project for the next five seasons, starting on 1 July.

The same source also indicates that the British player, who was paid 11 million euros on Merseyside, will now earn around 15 million euros gross per season, to which must be added the signing-on bonus and a performance-related bonus.

Approaches between the parties involved have increased in recent weeks, leading to a conclusive agreement being reached. A move that has put Liverpool, who have tried on multiple occasions to reopen negotiations with Alexander-Arnold in an attempt to keep him on.
