Andros Townsend pushes for Ryan Mason as Tottenham boss

Tottenham is hunting for a new manager and has been strongly linked with Gennaro Gattuso at last. But Andros Townsend believes Ryan Mason who took over as the Adhoc manager in the latest campaign would be a perfect match for them. Jose Mourinho was sacked in April and Mason took over the charge leading Spurs' last six Premier League games of the season, Tottenham ended up winning four of them.

Spurs were able to get their hands on Europa Conference League qualification after they finished seventh on the table. But Gattuso talks have been put on hold for now and the clubs have missed out on Paulo Fonseca, Brendan Rodgers, Antonio Conte, and former boss Mauricio Pochettino. Former Tottenham player says the club needs to offer Mason a full-time manager role and later on reassess next summer. The club seems to be in trouble after Ten Hag, Pochettino, and Conte turned down the role.
