Arsenal and Bayern left the tie wide open with a draw

Arsenal managed to draw at the Emirates Stadium after a second-half goal from Trossard that leaves the tie wide open for the second leg at the Allianz Arena in Germany.

Arsenal started the game by taking an early lead through Saka, but Bayern soon equalised through Gnabry. The stalemate lasted until the 33rd minute before Saliba brought down Sane in the box and the referee awarded a penalty which Harry Kane converted on his return to London. It wasn't until the 76th minute of the second half that Trossard made it 2-2, leaving everything open for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final at the Allianz Arena.
