Arsenal concerned Odegaard's asking price could increase

Martin Odegaard's performances at Arsenal have left the club amazed. They now want to keep the Norwegian permanently.

The player is on loan at the Emirates Stadum until 30th June. Then, he will have to return to Real Madrid who could listen to offers for the player.

Given his good performances and bright future, the Gunners would be delighted to keep the player, but the price could be a big problem for Arsenal.

According to the 'Daily Mail', the Arsenal board are hoping Madrid lower their asking price for Odegaard so they can put in a serious bid for the midfielder.

The paper says that the 13 times Champions League winners could let Odegaard go for around 60 million euros because of his good performances in England. That is an amount which Arsenal cannot afford at the moment.
