Arsenal crush West Brom 4-0

Alexandre Lacazette scored twice. Arsenal retorted at their critics. They did so by defeating West Brom i.e. 4-0 at snow immersed Hawthorns on Saturday.

The Gunners have now won three in a week. They tasted this success after seven Premier League games without a win. Now, their triumph has certainly diminished the talk of a relegation fight. And, finally, move back into contention for the European places.

Kieran Tierney's incredible solo goal opened the floodgates. And,  Sam Allardyce's men also made their contribution by conceding nine times in two games. To double the visitors' lead, Bukayo Saka rounded off an excellent team move. He made that move before Lacazette struck twice in four second-half minutes.

Since Allardyce took charge, West Brom has yet to win in four games. And the Ex England manager needs to quickly inculcate the defensive discipline. If the Baggies are to have any chance of survival, he has made his landmark at former clubs.
