Arsenal held back to a goalless draw against Crystal Palace

A frustrating end for fatigued Arsenal on Thursday who were held back by Crystal Palace to a goalless draw, they missed out on the chance to break into the top half of the table. Mikel Arteta confirmed later that the players were suffering from fatigue during the 0-0 draw after four back to back wins across competitions. They missed many opportunities to score at the Emirates Stadium and fatigue got the best of both sides.

Arsenal had the slowest start of the season since 1974-75 and have been struggling in the Premier League ever since, persistently being placed in the bottom half of the table they are still 8 points away of Champions League places though they picked up the speed after almost being dragged in a relegation battle. Whereas Palace has a similar story they are 13th on the table.
