Football London reports that Arsenal is interested in acquiring Amadou Onana, a midfielder for Everton. After signing a £33 million contract to join the Toffees from Lille in August 2022, Onana, 23, has made an impression in the Premier League, appearing in 47 games. The Gunners are rumoured to be contemplating making a bid of £50 million, which may be sufficient to entice Everton. The Merseyside club is struggling financially after being docked ten points for breaking the Premier League's financial regulations earlier in the season.
Everton, who value Onana at £90 million, will use every effort to hold onto him. There are 'intense negotiations' between Arsenal and the Toffees over a move for the midfield player, according to reports from Belgium. With nine senior caps under his belt, Onana is an international player for Belgium.
