Arsenal loanee Marquinhos has picked up an injury

Marquinhos, an Arsenal winger on loan, returned to his natural position out wide earlier this week, which was covered by Daily Cannon earlier this week. After starting full-back Samuel Xavier became healthy again, Marquinhos filled in at right-back for a month. However, Xavier's recovery saw the Arsenal player go back upfield.

However, Marquinhos was back at right-back a few days later. During the week, Xavier had another injury, so the 21-year-old had to step in. Sadly, it didn't last long as Marquinhos had to leave the Fluminense game against Cruzeiro in the 31st minute due to his own injury. According to O Dia, Marquinhos experienced a thigh issue that finally caused him to withdraw from the competition. Fluminense lost 2-0 after giving up twice. In addition to Manoel, Xavier, Isaac, Marcelo, and Felipe Melo being banned for the game, Jhon Arias was absent due to Colombia's Copa America squad.
