Arsenal remain unstoppable and secures place in the next phase of Europa League

Arsenal add and follow and on Thursday the Gunners secured a spot in the next phase of the Europa League, by receiving and beating the Dutch from PSV (1-0), in a delayed game of the 2nd round of the second UEFA competition.

With Fábio Vieira in the starting line-up, Arsenal maintained the exhibitional level that the fans have already inhabited throughout this season, but only in the second half would they be able to undo the void, through a dry shot by Xhaka, on the 70th minute.

PSV tried to react to the goal they conceded, but it was Arsenal who came closest to scoring again, thanks to successive saves by goalkeeper Walter Benítez.

With this triumph, Arsenal accumulates the eighth consecutive victory of the season and the 13th in 14 games this season.
