Arsenal to play MLS All-Star game

'MLS' announced Tuesday the selection of Arsenal to face a team of the MLS best players at Audi Field in Washington on July 19th.

As part of the All-Star event, players from the Gunners and the MLS team will take part in the skills challenge, where they will showcase their freestyle skills.

Former England international Wayne Rooney, head coach of DC United, the team from the US capital, was named as the coach of the MLS All-Star team.

The London side are coached by Spaniard Mikel Arteta and include American goalkeeper Matt Turner, England's Bukayo Saka and Brazilians Gabriel Jesus and Jorginho.

"Fans at Audi Field and watching on MLS Season Pass will be treated to back-to-back fun and thrilling nights featuring skill, style, and intense competition as top global stars meet in our nation’s capital," said the CEO.
