AS Roma returned to set a pace in the race for qualifying places for the next edition of the Champions League, having failed to go beyond a 2-2 draw, in their visit to Napoli.
The Giallorosso team was the first to celebrate, at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, following a penalty converted by Paulo Dybala, in the 59th minute. However, the response from the defending Italian champions came just five minutes later, through a rebound by Mathias Olivera.
In the 84th minute, Victor Osimhen put the ball in the back of the net by another penalty, and, in the 90th minute, it was Tammy Abraham's turn to seal the final result.
Despite this result, AS Roma remain in fifth place in Serie A, with 59 points. However, they now have just two points over Atalanta, who received and beat Empoli, 2-0, and have a game in hand.
