Atalanta 2-1 win at Monza

Charles De Ketelaere headed in the opening goal thanks to an assist from Ademola Lookman, who then set up El Bilal Toure to cap off a counterattack. In the 89th minute, Daniel Maldini gave Monza a response, and five minutes into stoppage time, he struck the crossbar to almost tie the score.

With the win, Atalanta is now one point behind Roma in the battle for the last Champions League slot, in sixth position. In addition, Atalanta, who defeated Liverpool 3-1 on aggregate on Thursday, has the potential to go to the Champions League should it win the Europa League. In the semifinals, the Bergamo squad will play Marseille. On Wednesday, Atalanta will try to overcome a 1-0 deficit against Fiorentina in the second leg of the Italian Cup semifinals.
