Atalanta were held to a goalless draw at home by Udinese

Following six substitute appearances, Ebosele made his seventh start of the Serie A season for the former Derby County player and Ireland U21 international. Ebosele played over 80 minutes at right wing back for Udinese. After he departed the pitch, the 20-year-old Enniscorthy player was given a booking. Sandi Lovric's powerful shot in the 17th minute had a chance to give Ebosele's team the lead, but it barely missed the crossbar.

At the half-hour mark, the visitors had another opportunity when the striker Beto was one on one with the Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso, who lunged himself to block the Portuguese from taking a shot. Atalanta, who had 17 shots on target and controlled possession, had a great chance to score a late winner in the 90th minute, but Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri made a spectacular save to divert the ball over the crossbar.
