Atletico and Juventus meet over Morata

Although the deadline to activate his 35 million euro buyout clause has passed, the Italians will meet with Atletico Madrid to complete a transfer for a lower fee.

Allegri has asked Juventus for an effort to complete the signing of Morata, who has been important in his second season on loan from Atletico Madrid. Simeone does not count on the Spaniard.

However, Juve have not been able to pay the 35 million euros Atletico demanded of him as part of the option to buy. For a few months, the Italians have been negotiating with Atletico, but the starting figure of 15 million euros is too low for the La Liga outfit.

'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reports that Juventus have sent a group headed by sporting director Federico Cherubini to Madrid. They will meet with the Atletico board. The aim is to complete the signing for around 15-20 million.
