Atletico Madrid maintains its lead at the top

Luis Suarez’s double for Atletico Madrid giving the club a 10-point lead in La Liga with the 4-2 win against Cádiz helping Diego Simeone's team to stay at the top. Suarez scored on either side of the half to reach a total of 14 goals tally this season. The Uruguay striker has struck 9 goals for the side in his last eight matches. Atletico Madrid is on a roll as well with an eighth back-to-back win they are 50 points from 19 matches.

Suárez struck the opening goal at the 28th minute and added the second one in the 50th minute. Saúl Ñíguez and Koke Resurrección also got on the scoring sheet to complete the rout while the club seeks its first title since 2014. Cádiz on the other hand sits 13th on the table and has been winless for the last three matches and got two goals by Álvaro Negredo.
