Atletico Madrid vs Sevilla 1-1

A midway lead was given by Jose Maria Gimenez to his side through the first half. Luis Suarez was in tears as it was his last match for the Atletico Madrid at Wanda Metropolitano. Just four minutes before time, Sevilla scored an equalizer which helped them to secure a spot in the Champions League’s next season. A defeat for Sevilla would mean they would require a point in their last game. 

Jose Gimenez scored a goal for Sevilla. After the game ended, Gimenez said that it would be nice if Suarez had scored it. Suarez scored 34 goals in the 82 games that he has played for the club. The season for Youseff En-Nesyri has been poor with just four goals scored coming into the game. But for this match, he did more than anyone else to equalize with the rival team.
