Barca offer to bring back Suarez

Luis Suarez was very critical of they way Barcelona announced that he would not be at the club for the 2020/21 season. He learned about this through a phone call with Ronald Koeman, the manager at the time, which Suarez was not happy about.

At that time, Atletico reached out to him and he happily joined them. Two seasons later, his contract with Atleti has ended and the club decided that they would not extend his contract, despite Suarez wanting to stay. His deal finishes on the 30th June 2022.

Suarez is looking for a new home and according to 'Sport', the striker has been offered the chance to return to Barcelona. The paper reports that Barcelona contacted the Uruguayan once they learned that he would not extend his time in Madrid.
