Barça to negotiate with Dembele to renew until 2026

After a few busy months, on 14th July 2022, Barcelona were able to announce the renewal of Ousmane Dembele's contract. His contract expired on 30th June and the club, with that one already expired, made him a new one for two more seasons.

Negotiations between Dembele's agent and the club were tough. Both parties had to give in on their demands in order to reach an agreement.

Right now, Dembele is linked to Barça until June 2024. His termination clause is 50 million euros. The club wants both the expiration date of his contract and the termination clause to change.

'Mundo Deportivo' claims that one of Barcelona's priorities is the renewal of Dembele. They want to count on the Frenchman in the long term and will make him a proposal.
