Barcelona express interest in Arthur Melo

A return to Camp Nou seems to be in the future for Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo. Catalans want their former Brazilian international back with the squad. The player joined Barca first in 2018 leaving behind Brazilian outfit Gremio. The 25-year-old then spent two seasons with the side making 71 appearances and had four and six goal assists to record his time with the Catalans.

Later on, in 2020, he was involved with the swap deal with Miralem Pjanic. But Juve and Barca did not reap the benefits of the move, Pjanic could not climb up the later at Camp Nou, he even served the last season on loan and might even leave permanently this summer. Meanwhile, Arthur has not fetched well at Turin either and could not feature in the regular starter list for Bianconeri.
