Barcelona have joined the race to sign Newcastle striker Alexander Isak

Just three goals separate Cole Palmer and Erling Haaland at the top of the scoring chart with 20 goals apiece, with 17 of those goals coming in the Premier League. He had a big impression at Newcastle after arriving in 2022 for a £60 million cost. In 64 games, he has scored 31 goals and assisted four more. Spurs and Arsenal are among the elite teams in the league that have expressed interest in him as a result of his outstanding performances.

Additionally, Barcelona is reportedly currently considering a move for him. The Sun claims that the La Liga powerhouses have determined that Isak is the best option to take Robert Lewandowski's position. And because the Magpies must balance the books to comply with financial requirements, the Catalan-based club thinks they could be obliged to sell him.
