Barcelona secured the win in La Liga

On Thursday night Barcelona played against Real Sociedad and claimed victory by 1-0. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 9th goal of this season helped Barca remain in the second spot in La Liga. He shot the ball from Ferran Torres’ cross into the back of the rival’s net in the 11th minute of the game. This helped his side secure a good win. Barca was great in the first half but when Eric Garcia replaced Ronald Araujo in the second half, they were kept on their toes.

Marc Andre Ter Stegan ensured that the home side was away with two great saves from Adnan Januzaj. Real Sociedad finished the game with 56 percent of possession. On the other hand, after winning against Levante 2-3, Sevilla remains in the third spot. Levante’s survival chances have suffered a blow after two goals were shot by the rival team.
