Bayern Munich close Laimer deal

RB Leipzig and Konrad Laimer will part ways at the end of the current season. After the Austrian had reported a few months ago that he was on the verge of joining Bayern Munich, a deal with the Bavarian club is already on the cards.

According to press, the clubs are expected to announce it  this month that will see the player join German coach Jules Nagelsmann's side.

The midfielder is set to join next summer and will arrive as a free agent, as his contract expires this season. His priority was to stay in the Bundesliga.

During this season, Konrad has had a satisfactory level of participation in the various competitions. The Austria international played in the German Supercup, as well as five Bundesliga games and another one in the Champions League.
