Bayern Munich crushed French outfit Lyon in Portugal

Munich steams into final of the Champions League on Wednesday evening with a comfortable 3-0 win over Lyon.

After hammering Barca 8-2 in Friday’s quarter-final, Bayern were always favorites to progress to the final and face French Champions Paris-Saint Germain.

And Hans-Dieter Flick’s side lived up to the expectation, Serge Gnabry scored first two goals set Bayern well on their way to UEFA Champions League final before Munich’s goal machine Robert Lewandowski got in on the act and register his 55th goal of a wonderful season

The victory for Munich, of course, sees Lyon’s memorable run draw to a close. Lyon certainly not considered as one of the sides that would have reached the last four of the Champions League all the way back at the start of the season.
