Germany and Bayern Munich captain, Manuel Neuer has inked a one-year extension with Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich as has been confirmed by the club as well. Neuer would stay with the club till 2024 after having led the side to their 10th back-to-back Bundesliga title. The 36-year-old is being regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and as per Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn “he has been setting standards at the international level for years”.
The player has delivered consistently for the club over the period of time and is one of the defining players in the history of FC Bayern. Neuer has so far made 472 appearances for the side after leaving Schalke in 2011 to join Bayern Munich.
