Bayern Munich is back on top after thumping Leverkusen 5-1

A brace by Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry each gives Bayern Munich the much-needed three points to defend their Bundesliga Title from the top spot once more on Sunday. In an eventful first half, Bayern Munich builds a good lead with all the five goals coming in the first 45 minutes on Sunday.

The team shrugged off Eintracht Frankfurt defeat before the international break and for two weeks the defending champions saw Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table, they are now one point clear of Dortmund. Lewandowski kicked off the day with two goals, meanwhile Leroy Sane hit the post as Dortmund’s effort to control did not pay off. Thomas Mueller also played a big role first putting a goal past Lukas Hradecky, then set up Gnabry for his first goal of the night.
