Benevento held back Torino to 2-2

Double score by Simone Zaza ensured a point for relegation-threatened Torino after they managed to hold back Benevento to a 2-2 draw in the Serie A. Davide Nicola's debut for Benevento did not emerge into a win but they settled for the next best thing.

Benevento was ahead of Torino in the second half with goals by Nicolas Viola with a penalty and thereafter Gianluca Lapadula’s deflected shot extended their lead over Torino but Zaza threatened their lead with a goal two minutes after and later leveled the score in stoppage time to salvage a draw for Torino in their attempt to climb out to relegation zone which was still unsuccessful and Benevento was held to 11th place on the table.
