Benzema helps Madrid stay afloat against Eibar

Karim Benzema displayed extreme prowess to stay in form against Real Madrid's thrashing of Eibar to score once and assists twice in the 3-1 win against Eibar. They go level on points with Atletico Madrid at the top of the Spanish League. While they also recently won 3-1 against Elche but have two games still in hand. Zinedine Zidane called Benzema phenomenal who scored in the sixth minute and later set up Luka Modric to score in the 13th minute.

This was their fourth back-to-back win. Scoring the third goal of the night for Madrid was Lucas Vazquez later in the stoppage time and Garcia Kike closed in on the gap for Eibar once in the 28th minute. Real has a great chance this offseason with a better head-to-head record to showcase than Atletico Madrid. And Barca lags behind on fifth place eight points away after their weekend match ended in a 2-2 draw with Valencia.
