The Bundesliga match between Bochum and Borussia Monchengladbach was deserted on Friday after an item was tossed from the fans’ side and hit one of the linesmen. Gladbach was 2-0 ahead at the hour of the episode with goals from Alassane Plea and Breel Embolo. In any case, the team's strikes were to no end after the game was stopped with 19 minutes left after linesman Christian Gittelman was hit on the head.
The despicable act happened in front of the Bochum fans. Later both the groups left the match in protest and after a while, it was affirmed that they would not continue.
