Braga was eliminated...but scored the goal of the week in the Conference League

UEFA announced, on Friday, that Álvaro Djaló's goal, at the service of Sporting de Braga, was elected the best of the week of the Europa Conference League, in a game that dictated the elimination of the Portuguese team.

At a time when Artur Jorge's team was winning (0-1), the 23-year-old striker starred in a shot, from outside the area, extending the advantage of Braga in the game.

However, the goal would be insufficient to guarantee passage to the 'eighth' of the competition, after the home defeat suffered in the first leg (0-4), in a duel in which Fiorentina would end up coming back and winning by 3-2 .

Despite the elimination, Sporting de Braga ended up scoring the one that was elected the best shot of the week in the European competition.
