Brazil's forward Igor Jesus sets incredible 13-month record

Brazilian striker Igor Jesus has achieved a rare milestone, scoring in nine official competitions within just thirteen months since January 2025. This record spans two continents, proving his adaptability.

At Botafogo, he opened his account in the Carioca Tournament against Fluminense, followed by a league goal against Juventude. He converted a penalty in the Copa do Brasil and shone in the Copa Libertadores against Universidad de Chile. His profile rose further during the Club World Cup, notably scoring against PSG.

After joining Nottingham Forest that summer, Jesus quickly impacted English football. He delivered a brace in the EFL Cup in September and netted against Real Betis in the Europa League. His Premier League breakthrough came in December against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Finally, he completed the set in January 2026 with an FA Cup goal against Wrexham, maintaining a perfect scoring record in every competition he has entered since arriving in Europe.
