Bundesliga: Cologne won 3-2 against Augsburg

Cologne boosts their chances in Bundesliga by beating Augsburg by 3-2 on Friday. The hosts on the other hand were pushed into the relegation zone. Cologne went ahead with a stunning opener by Ondrej Duda within eight minutes of the match. Florian Kainz was responsible for the second one, he finished the attack by slotting home at the 23rd minute in the bottom right corner. Duda later struck once more giving  Cologne a good 3-0 read by half time.

Augsburg answered in the second half with two goals eight minutes apart by Robert Gumny and Ruben Vargas but could not find the leveler. Augsburg, despite the loss, is 12th on the table and has been without a win for four matches. Bayern Munich would aim for three more points now when they take on Mainz and try to solidify their 9th back-to-back win.
