Timo Werner’s time this summer at the Blues had a lot of ups and downs after joining Stamford Bridge in a £47.5 million deal from RB Leipzig last season. Under Frank Lampard, he netted twice in 6 appearances later helped Chelsea in the Champions League-winning campaign scoring against Rennes, FK Krasnodar and Real Madrid. The 25-year-old, in the end, scored 12 goals for the Blues and is just getting started and is a valuable player to the squad and improved his form under Thomas Tuchel.
Looking at his performance Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has expressed interest in the player as the Italian is rebuilding the Los Blancos squad for the new season. Along with Werner Houssem Aouar and Gareth Bale are also part of his target list.
