Chelsea plans to use Lukaku to tempt Roma

Romelu Lukaku, will visit his parent club this summer before being moved on once more. Providing Chelsea can locate a taker. Yet, if Chelsea can use him as a makeweight to re-sign another of their previous forwards, Lukaku may return to Serie A. But, Inter Milan has no interest in bringing Lukaku back for a third stint.

Many reports say that the Blues are hoping to lower Roma's demands if they trade Tammy Abraham by putting Lukaku on the market. Chelsea has the right to exercise a buy-back option on the England center-forward, but Todd Boehly is requesting a reduction in the £70 million price tag that would be required. Where the player goes is still uncertain, and Lukaku's decision to return from his dismal Inter Milan loan will put him in a tough position with Chelsea.
