Manchester City did not falter on their dominating stance and beat Borussia Monchengladbach by 2-0. After goals by Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus the match was pretty much over for Monchengladbach but City could have extended their lead but wasn’t as sharp as before. This comes after their match against Arsenal where they struggled to score but did manage a win after all while Gladbach’s attack could use some work as their lack of creativity and morale on the field made it clear they would lose after the first goal itself.
City has not yet unleashed their attacking side completely and for West Ham, it does not bode well with the weekend match around the corner in Premier League. But creating just two chances against a team like Gladbach could raise the question of where City is heading?
